THE ROJAK PROJEK's workshops offer an engaging and enjoyable approach to learning about diverse cultures while fostering bonds through art.

We currently offer two types of workshops:

We've made our workshop exclusive to engage with different Malaysian ethnic groups and highlight their cultures through our food portrait art. In Malaysia, food culture is not just about cuisine; it's a vital part of identity and cultural heritage, often preserved even when other aspects of culture fade. Collaborating with communities to create these artworks provides a sensory experience that enhances our appreciation for local food. Our objective is to create food art portraits to promote Malaysian food culture and raise awareness of unheard communities. Following our successful 2023 exhibition, we will focus solely on impacting the communities through this workshop.

We've launched a new workshop program blending nature and art, inspired by artist Lim Sheng Feiyan (also known as Faye Lim) who discovered a newfound appreciation for nature during the pandemic lockdown.

Unable to venture outdoors, she found solace in creating art inspired by nature, which proved therapeutic and helped her stay focused amid the negativity in the news and media. This unique perspective has resonated with others, leading to a growing demand for the workshop.
